Kekionga Confederation[edit]
The Kekionga Confederation is a large confederation of Native American tribes that successfully stopped the United States from expanding into the Midwest. Kekionga was originally the capital of the Miami tribe, which functioned as the capital of the Northwestern Confederacy.
Tecumseh[edit]
Tecumseh, a notable Shawnee general, defeated the United States at the Battle of the Thames on October 5, 1813. This victory cemented the dominance of the Northwestern Confederacy in the Ohio Valley.
